In Beech Class we use and improve our reading skills in Big Book sessions. This week, using our skills of inference, prediction and reading out loud together, we have been reading ‘and tango makes three’ by Justin Richardson and Peter Parnell. Based on a true story, it is a heart-warming tale of a penguin couple who live in a zoo in Central Park. With the help of their zookeeper the couple, who are both boys, start a family of their own. We’ve really enjoyed reading this book.
