Willow class have certainly been living life in all its fullness this week with our fabulous trip to Bishop's Wood. To link with our theme this term of caring for our amazing environment and our butterflies we went on the Katy Caterpillar trip.
The children were so excited, busily chatting and looking out of the windows on the journey there. We were met by our teacher Greg who started our day off with a story all about Katy the Caterpillar. The fun never stopped and the children were able to hunt for bugs, which they popped into bug pots for a closer inspection! Mrs Hood was not keen on the spiders!
We used butterfly nets in the meadow, went pond dipping and finally we made bug pictures with natural materials in the woodland area. We all had a fabulous day!
