In Nursery we really enjoy learning our numbers. We have explored lots of different ways to help us count and recognise numerals. Many of us can now count past 20 forwards and backwards! We have been getting the children to be playful with maths and encouraging them to talk about what they see, how they see it and recognising how they know it. This has helped their confidence around maths and their ability to use and apply this knowledge during learning time. The children have started to extend their learning independently and it is amazing to see them create number games when they are outdoors.
