The children in Willow class are really beginning to understand and show our school values and show them in their words and actions. This week in particular Willow class have shown kindness and friendship to each other and our new classmate. The children have welcomed Renée, helping her to settle into the class by, showing her where things are and making sure she always has someone to play with.
Our value this week is thankfulness and during assembly Mr. Carr asked the children to think about who or what they are thankful for. During class discussion some of the children shared their thoughts.
Louie-James is thankful for his friend Harrison who always plays with him. Ava is thankful for the beach and the special times she has their with her family. Kyron is thankful for his family as they take him on fun trips, like the day they went to the Safari Park and he got to feed the animals.
During our Jack in the Box story time we also talked about thankfulness as we read the story of Creation. Arabella was very thankful for God as he made all the people.
Mrs. Cox and Mrs. Hood are very thankful for all the children in Willow class and how hard they try each day with their learning and living our values.
