Mark making!
This week in Cedar class we have been busy mark making. The children's fine motor skills have progressed immensely over the past weeks. We can proudly say that most children can hold their pencils or objects with a pincer grip. Mark making is so important because it helps them communicate their ideas, express their feelings, develop their imagination and show their creativity. An example of this is the lovely picture Alessia drew of a forest, where her fairy could play.
Kippers Birthday is the book we have been focusing on this week. The children have enjoyed the book and had lots of fun writing invitations for their birthday party. Check out some of their work below!
