This week the children looked for signs and symbols that showed we were a Church school. We looked around our hall and found the candles, our school prayer and our school dove logo. We had to go outside to find the cross on top of our school building. Finally we found a bible in our classroom.
They learned that they were part of the Willow Class family, which was part of the Holly Hill family, which was part of the Church family.
The children enjoyed making mini versions of themselves wearing their school uniform. They felt happy to be part of the Holly Hill family and understood that their uniform represented that family.
