In Year One, we have been considering a Big Question: What is God like?
We have thought carefully about different ways God is described and shown in pictures, as well as how He shows our school values through his actions in Bible stories.
This week we heard a Bible story that told us all about a journey taken by a group of people known as the Israelites. We heard about the different ways God provided for them, such as food, water, shelter, and safe passage. We learned that they had to trust God to provide.
We had lots of amazing discussions about the story and what we all thought. We then went off and made crowns to show that God is the King of Heaven, and each crown was fitted with beautiful gemstones which were to show all the ways God provides for us.
