What would Jesus do?

22nd Jun 2021

Following on from Miss Taylor’s worship this week, the children in Cedar have been helping each other to live life in all its fullness. They have shown that love is patient and love is kind.

Our first award goes to Darcie, for showing patience, love, friendship, kindness and gentleness to her friend. Darcie was sat quietly looking after baby Annabelle when she noticed her friend was upset. Without any hesitation, Darcie handed baby Annabelle to her friend, smiled and waited for her friend to feel happy again. There were no words exchanged just an act of love. Darcie is a true example of living life in all its fullness and being the best we can be as we follow Jesus’ footsteps.

Our second award is a joint award, for Isaac, Kyren and Maya. During our dance workshop they brought joy to everybody. In the beginning they were a little anxious but they were patient with themselves as they observed their friends quietly before joining in. I was completely overwhelmed when they moved to the music and copied Amy. Their energy and enthusiasm was amazing and it was clear they were having so much fun. They took this opportunity to do something new and live life in all its fullness.
