Response to consultation
Dear Stakeholders
Following the end of the consultation period on 16th March during which; parents, staff, governors, local schools, local businesses, Birmingham City Council departments, Birmingham Diocese and the Methodist Circuit were invited to comment on the proposal for Holly Hill Methodist/CofE Infant and Nursery School (Voluntary Aided) to join Inspiring Lives Education Academy Trust, I am writing to inform you that, of the 18 replies received, all were in favour and no questions were raised.
Replies were received from staff (2) and parents/carers (16).
It is therefore the intention of the governors to submit an application to join the trust to the Department of Education for approval.

Academisation
Here is our dedicated page about academisation.
As the government continue to discuss the academisation of all schools, Holly Hill has taken the pro-active decision to be at the forefront of change. As central services begin to dwindle and financial pressures become more apparent, leaders and governors have been instrumental in identifying a Trust that will protect the integrity and sustainability of the school.
To this end, Inspiring Lives Education Trust has been identified as a strong match for the school. This is a new Methodist Trust in addition to their established Trust in the north. The Inspiring Lives vision, Transforming lives through excellent education rooted in love, replicates our high aspirations for Life in all its fullness (John 10:10) underpinned by our 12 Christian values.
Our next stage in the academisation process is to now formally consult with all of our school community to gather views on the long-term future of the school. This is an opportunity to share your views. It is called a listening period and will run from the 17th February until 18th March 2023.
