In the fight against climate change the governing body of Holly Hill Church School recognises the target of reducing carbon emissions of both the Church of England and the Methodist Church to net zero by 2030. This includes our school.
We will aim reduce our carbon footprint to meet the target wherever possible, within financial constraints, by moving towards 100% renewable energy, reducing consumption, increasing awareness and using energy saving technologies. A ‘Resilience Statement’ will review this declaration annually to set out how the school’s climate resilience is being measured and progress towards the target.
