Class Prayers

Each week, a class is chosen to work together to reflect on our value of the week and write a prayer to share with the whole school during our Friday Collective Worship.

Here is an example of our class prayers - one class each week leads the prayer in our celebration worship.

 

Fir Class - Patience

 

Evergreen Class - Forgiveness

 

Beech Class - Thankfulness

The children in Beech class wrote individual prayers this week, and each thanked God for the things they are grateful for.  

Here is an amazing example of the children’s work:

Dear God,

Thank you for your love so sweet.

Thank you for giving us life so we can breathe the air in your beautiful world that is all around us.

 Thank you for giving us Jesus so we can learn to care for people, just like he did.

Dear loving God,

Thank you for teaching us to love others as much as you do.

Help us to show tolerance and play with people that we don’t usually play with and celebrate their differences.

We also prey for tolerance to be shown around the world.
