SEND Teaching Assistant Grade 3

Start date: September 2025

Contract: 34 hours per week term time only - Fixed term for 12 months with possible opportunity to extend

 

Salary Range: £26,409 - £32,654 (pro rata)

We are looking for several highly qualified teaching assistants to join us who:

  • Are willing to work as part of a team in either our specialist SEN class or supporting SEN children across the school
  • Has experience of working in school within the EYFS/KS1 setting
  • Has experience of working with SEND pupils with an EHCP
  • Demonstrates and models high quality teaching and learning support
  • Demonstrates highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has experience or knowledge of the AET framework and SCERTS
  • Is knowledgeable of the EY and KS1 curriculums
  • Is confident in using a range of communication methods eg, Makaton, PECS and ALD
  • Demonstrates full commitment to our 12 Christian Values
