On Tuesday Willow class and Cedar class went on a trip to visit St. Johns and St. Peters Church in Ladywood. The children really enjoyed this trip, they learnt all about Epiphany, which is a special time after Jesus was born, and had an opportunity to dress up and act different parts of the story.
The children made crowns, which they decorated with 5 stars, and prayer candles, decorated with glitter and sparkle. Some children were able to play 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' on their special bells, and they were very good.
Finally we lit candles to give thanks and put them on the special candle tree. Those children who were able to do this had some wonderful prayers. Merhawi gave thanks for his teachers and the ladies at the church for such a wonderful day.
