Due to the warm weather and hot temperatures in school in the afternoon we will close to ALL pupils at 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Children are able to wear their PE kit everyday this week.
This week, the children learned about Aldersgate Day and the life of John Wesley. John Wesley, an important figure in history, was the founder of Methodism. We talked about an event where he felt his "heart was strangely warmed," which is a significant moment for those who follow Methodist teachings. John Wesley was known for his dedication to helping others, teaching, and spreading kindness, which are values we encourage in our school.
The children shared thoughts about who they love and created heart-themed crafts to express their feelings. We also discussed the school prayer, which includes words inspired by John Wesley.
