This week we have been 'Living Life in all its Fullness' by celebrating Aldersgate Day. This is a special day for Methodists when John Wesley (the founder of the Methodist Church) had a special meeting with people who read Bible stories and his 'heart felt strangely warmed'. This is an important day in the Methodist calendar because it was an event in his life that led to the start of the Methodist Church in the UK and America.
We marked the occasion in Fir class by decorating John Wesley's famous words (which are also part of our school prayer), making book marks and decorating hearts for people to spread love.
We are looking forward to learning more about John Wesley's life next half term because he will be our new Courageous Advocate.
