Today the whole school have been learning and celebrating Aldersgate Day. 280 years ago today John Wesley felt his heart strangely warmed. We learnt all about how John started the Methodist Church. In our classrooms we learnt about John's life, teachings and how Methodism spread around the world. We all wrote prayers and used them to decorate the Prayer Garden, then came together for a special service outside in the Prayer Garden. We shared what we have been learning with each other and read our prayers. It was a lovely occasion.
