This week in Maple we have been living ‘Life in all its Fullnes’ learning about Aldersgate Day. We had a lovely afternoon thinking about John Wesley the founder of the Methodist church. We discovered that our school prayer is made up of his words and were shocked to discover that a long time ago only rich people were able to go to church. All of Maple Class were very upset to hear this because they felt it was not showing our values! We learned that John Wesley travelled the world to spread his message from God. We shared a story that told us about his life and were all able to use our fantastic oracy skills for a did you know? Where we were very brave using our loud speaking voices to share facts and information about what we have learned.
