Our whole school gathered in the prayer garden for our Aldersgate Day service to remember the day that John Wesley (founder of the Methodist Church) felt his heart strangely warmed. Early Methodist church services were often held outside like our service. In Methodist services lots of people participate in leading the service. Every class brought a prayer that they had written and they took turns to lead us in our prayers. Our hearts all felt strangely warmed by our singing and prayers in the joyful spring sunshine; a feeling of Life in all its Fullness.
