This week we have been living life in all its fullness by celebrating each other. The children learnt about the importance of Black History Month. They understood this is a special time to celebrate the significant contributions of Black people to our community, country, and the world. By helping our children understand that we should all be treated equally they will uphold our school value of respect. The children enjoyed reading the story 'All People are Beautiful' by Vincent Kelly. It helped them to understand that no matter what we look like or how different we are, we are all humans beings. I am proud to say the children in Cedar class work hard to be fair and treat each other well. Check them out being wonderful humans below!
