Due to the warm weather and hot temperatures in school in the afternoon we will close to ALL pupils at 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Children are able to wear their PE kit everyday this week.
What a great week it has been in Nursery! All of the children have been working hard, living life in all its fullness, trying hard to follow each of our school values.
This week, we read the story 'Shark in the Park' and the children were able to retell it using a story map to help them. All of the class were able to talk about the different animals that we meet and show an understanding of what the story is about.
We have also been busy designing our own playgrounds, practising our scissor skills by cutting out sharks, baking play doh cakes, riding the bikes and scooters in the big playground and creating long train tracks around the nursery.
