In Maple class we have been 'Living Life in all its Fullness' by looking at the story Journey by Aaron Becker. We have been thinking about the emotions of the characters and were very surprised to have a story with only illustrations. This has made us concentrate and look closely at what we can see.
This week we have been doing a 'big write' in class and really concentrating on time words. We have blown Miss Friar's and Mrs Blaber's socks off with the fantastic work we have achieved! We have so much to remember to include in our writing such as beginning a sentence with a capital letter and ending with a full stop. We are adding adjectives to make our writing interesting and exciting for the reader and we have also been adding punctuation such as exclamations marks and question marks.
Writing makes our hands work very hard and to help build our muscles and make them strong we do our finger gym in class. This can include lots of exciting activities in our finger gym area and also doing dough disco. We have a lot of fun and all of our hard work has helped us to create some fantastic writing.
