In RE we have been thinking about special places. The children thought about places that are special to them and they shared their ideas with the class. We then drew pictures and wrote words and sentences about our special places. We thought about how the places make us feel and why we like going there. We talked about how churches are special to Christians. We explored what happens in a church and talked about how important the people are in a church. The children explored their own experiences of going to churches. We made models of churches and used shapes to make a church picture.
