This week Evergreen class have been 'Living Life in all it's Fullness'. We have been enjoying big books every afternoon as a whole class which gives us the opportunity to share our predictions and thoughts, feeling and ideas about a text that we are reading.
This has also inspired some of us to become authors and illustrators at home to create our own books! They children have been kind to share these in our class and are letting them be put into our reading journey class book. This a book which we are creating during the year and we are writing book reviews and drawing pictures of books that we have enjoyed which we are all able to look at to help us choose an interesting book.
We have also started reading our home time class text which is The Christmasaurus and the Winter Witch by Tom Fletcher. Evergreen have been inspired by him to become authors as Miss Friar went to see him to tell him how wonderful Evergreen class are and he signed a book for us.
We have also been continuing our reading of common exception words and have played some reading games to help us to learn them!
