Amazing welcome to Evergreen class!
This week, we have been 'Living Life In All Its Fullness' settling in to Evergreen class. Both myself and Miss Wyatt have been filled with joy at the way Evergreen class have settled into their new class routine. We have taken this opportunity to get to know each other and have enjoyed the fact that they are now the role models for the rest of the school.
We have been creating self portraits which we are looking forward to painting on Friday and also completing some practical Math and phonics lessons. We were introduced to our new story of The Gingerbread Man after working out some clues and were very surprised to discover our classroom was covered in flour after we returned from breaktime. Thank you Gingerbread Man! I am not sure if we have heard the last from him. We have also been learning about resilience and collaboration and have been working hard to understand how we can use these skills within our learning.
Thank you Evergreen class for a wonderful beginning to our school year and both myself and Miss Wyatt are excited to be a part of your learning journey in Year 2.
