This week we have been 'Living Life In All Its Fullness' during our writing lessons. We have been reading the story of The Boy, The Troll and The Chalk by Annie Booth and David Litchfield. We have had lots of fun thinking of adjectives to describe the character of the troll and we even went outside and created our very own troll using chalks. We shared ideas of exciting adjectives to write our own character descriptions. Finally we wrote a letter to persuade the troll to leave his cave to enjoy God's beautiful and amazing world. We thought of what he would not get to experience if he stayed inside his cave. We had lots of ideas including the beautiful flowers and birds singing. We also thought that he would not enjoy sharing love, joy and kindness at Holly Hill school.
It has been a fantastic start to year two. Well done Evergreen Class!
