Wow! What another wonderful week in Nursery! The children have continued to impress everyone with their active learning and willingness to have a go at different activities.
We have continued with our story ‘Harry saves the ocean’ and the children were shocked that plastics and rubbish dropped by humans could hurt the sea animals. We talked lots about putting our rubbish in the bin and trying to recycle things! We will keep coming back to this over the next few weeks, to ensure the children really understand the importance of looking after our environment.
In RE this week we were thinking about the importance of being kind to everyone and responding sensitively to the experiences and feelings of others. We read the story ‘We are all different’ and the children enjoyed talking about all our differences. They loved telling their classmates about who lived in their home and what pets they had! There was also a lot of discussion about how different hair styles were. It was lovely hearing the children say ‘we are always kind’ or ‘we are all friends and we are different’. Well done Nursery, you really are living ‘life in all its fullness’.
