Willow class having been living life in all its fullness over the last week by colour mixing! We introduced the primary colours of red, yellow and blue and encouraged the children to explore what would happen when we mixed two or three of the colours together. The children loved the colour mixing bags and enjoyed the feeling of squashing and squeezing the foam bags without getting messy! This activity led to lots of thinking about why some of the bags had a dark purple and some were more of a red purple. We have also used chalk and water to mix our own paint colours that we then used to paint flowers, rainbows and ourselves! Well done Willow class.
