Autumn in Willow class
Willow class have been learning about the season of Autumn over the last week and this has helped the children to really look around when they are outside; both in the school playground and when they are on their way home. The children have been talking about how beautiful the trees are when they change colours and how fun it is when the wind blows the leaves around them.
Through the story ‘The Leaf Thief’ the children have also begun to think about different animals in the environment and how they survive during the Autumn and Winter. We have linked this learning with thinking about how it important it is to care for our environment and we had a circle time thinking about our role in this. The children are very keen that we always put our rubbish in the bin as we don’t want to hurt the animals! Well done Willow class, you really are living life in all its fullness.
