On Wednesday 11th March, year 2 went on a trip to the Botanical Gardens to learn all about Rainfainforest animals and plants. In the morning we went for a delightful walk around the grounds and took part in a Glass House Quiz where we found some bananas growing! After lunch, we went to the Education Room where we experienced plants and live animals! Did you know that coconuts kill more people than sharks?! We had the most wonderful day and learnt lots of new things!
