Our focus this week has been on the book Sun and Cloud. We have used this story to help us learn more about the weather and temperature. The children really liked the sensory elements of the story and loved it when the ‘rain’ poured down on them! We have also enjoyed experiencing the different temperatures outside this week, as well as deciding what the weather is like each day.
We have continued our Core Word Programme with the word ‘no’. This followed on nicely from last week’s word, ‘yes’, and the children have been brilliant at using these words (verbally, using Makaton signs, or symbols) to answer questions.
