today the lovely ladies from the Blue Cross came to visit us. They were teaching us how to look after and care for pets. We also learnt how to keep ourselves safe around dogs. We learn that we must not touch a dog without speaking to the owner first, we should be calm and say hello to the dog by letting it sniff us and we should stroke dogs gently. We learnt that if a dog runs towards us we should stand still like a tree and if we are sitting down we should curl into a ball so the dog doesn't get too excited.
