This term we are learning about the Cadbury Brothers and in DT we are going to help them to create a new Cadbury truck. We began by thinking about existing products. First, we discussed what a product is and understood that it is something that is manufactured or created for a purpose or reason. Then, we got to explore lots of different products. We had a wonderful time exploring toys thinking about what material it is made from? How the toy moves? Then we discussed what we liked and disliked about some products. We also looked at pictures of some Cadbury toy trucks and watched a video of how toy cars are made. Next it was our turn to design our own Cadbury truck. We know we will be using a junk modelling box and some wooden wheels. Now we have to think how we will put all this together to create our product. We can't wait to start making them this week and we will show you some more pictures when we have finished making them.
