Caterpillar Lifecycle
18th Mar 2021
In Maple class, we have been learning lots of new vocabulary to use in our writing.
This week, we have been learning all about caterpillars and butterflies!
We now know that they hatch from an egg after two weeks, eat lots and lots of leaves, and breathe through holes on the side of their heads.
Then they form a chrysalis (or cocoon) and stay there for another two weeks until they become a butterfly!
We have also been challenging ourselves to use lots of WOW words in our writing.
Have a look at some of our writing from this week!
