The whole school came together to share what they had learnt about Chinese New Year. We were treated to a Dragon Dance from Cedar Class. Nursery shared their amazing traditional dress and lanterns. Willow Class had made dragons and written some Chinese writing. Fir Class had completed Maths in Chinese!! They had written their answers in Chinese script. In Maple Class, the children had learnt lots of fact about what people do to celebrate Chinese New Year and made masks. Beech Class used red card and made some 3D Dragon decorations. Evergreen Class made and performed their own Chinese Dragon dance and music.
It was a great Celebration. Well done everyone!
