This week, the children have embraced the Christmas spirit. They've had a fantastic time role-playing in Santa's workshop, where they've been busy building and wrapping up toys. Everyone has been getting creative, making Christmas cards and other Christmas crafts. They also practised mark-making, drawing pictures for Santa, and writing their names.
Today, we had a very special surprise treat! The children were thrilled when Shannon visited with some extraordinary animals. They had the chance to touch a snake and see a millipede, gecko, bearded lizard, and an adorable little hamster!
