The children have been very busy in Cedar class this week. They have been applying their phonic knowledge and writing for a purpose by making sure a certain person knows what they would like for Christmas.
The children have also enjoyed writing Christmas cards and giving them to their friends. They enjoyed helping one of Santa’s elves, Merry Sparkle Pants, by writing give tags for his presents and checking which presents were the heaviest.
As we are now well into the season of advent the children have been trying hard to complete little acts of kindness and complete a daily challenge from the ‘good deed’ jar.
It is an exciting time of year and the children are working hard in their preparations for Christmas.
