In nursery worship time we have been learning all about the Bible being God’s special book with a little helping hand from our new friend Jack. The Bible is Jack’s favourite book and he has let us share it with him. We all sat in a circle and discussed what we do in worship time, what our Christian values are and why they are important to us at Holly Hill.
We have also been continuing to develop positive attitudes about the differences between people by remembering and talking about special times and significant events.
Two children In Nursery had their birthdays this week so we talked about what happens when we have a birthday and how we feel on this special day. Finally, we looked at how children celebrate their birthdays across the world and how it was similar or different. The children enjoyed talking about their special celebrations together showing life in all its fullness.
