This half term we have been learning all about the Cadbury family. In DT, the children have been given a task to design their own moving vehicle that will also be a Cadbury truck.
We started the topic by looking at a range of moving vehicles that we had in our classroom. We made a list of the materials that they were made from and then decided which ones we liked or did not like. We gave some really reasons for our choices.
The following week we started to design our truck. We thought about the colours that we associate with Cadbury chocolate and drew a design for the side of our truck. The children really enjoyed this session and really showed 'Life it all its Fullness.'
Please enjoy some photos of the process so far. We are going to start making the trucks this week by decorating a chosen cardboard box, which will then be fastened to some wheels and an axis. We will post some pictures of our completed product at the end of the topic.
