This week Cedar class has been learning all about Diwali. They have had lots of fun learning about the festival of lights and how Hindus and Sikhs celebrate it with joy. Everyone enjoyed designing their own Rangoli patterns and learning some new cultural dance moves. The children have been exploring Dance as an art form. They looked at how Dance tells stories, connects people, creates celebration and allows us to communicate in a way that words sometimes can't. The children’s favourite dance move was jumping to create a firework and then using their arms as part of the colourful explosion.
