During RE this half term we are looking at different celebrations. This week is the Diwali festival of lights so we spent time finding out what happens at Diwali. The children enjoyed finding out about the different customs and activities. They made Diwali lamps, which they decorated with sequins, and coloured pictures of the lights and Rangoli patterns. We also watched a video of a Diwali dance, which they were keen to have a go at. They copied the different moves which represented different parts of the celebration.
