Easter Excitement!
For the build up to Easter, we have been thinking about the stories from the Bible... The Great Parade (when Jesus went to Jerusalem), An Important Meal (when Jesus sat down to eat with the disciples) and The Dreadful Day (when Jesus was crucified). We thought carefully about Easter symbols and what they represented... a palm cross, a hot cross bun, a pancake and an Easter egg (and enjoyed eating the edible symbols too!). We thought sensitively about these stories and symbols and described how they made us feel, including feelings of sadness and joy when we discovered the reasons why Jesus was put on the cross on Good Friday. Next week, we will be using this knowledge to create Easter Gardens... so please remember to tune back in to have a look!
