Exploring Numbers in Nursery
This week, in our Nursery class, we have had an exciting time exploring numbers! The children have been working hard on recognising numbers and counting out objects. It’s wonderful to see them gaining confidence in their counting and number knowledge.
Daily counting is very important, so we try to incorporate opportunities for counting and recognising numbers throughout our day. We encourage you to support your child's learning at home as well by counting objects during everyday activities, like setting the table or tidying up toys.
This week the children have enjoyed getting into the Christmas spirit by helping to decorate the classroom and made their own gingerbread men out of playdough. They also enjoyed the story Stickman and went on their own Stick hunt to create their own version of Stick man. In PE they enjoyed playing with the parachute and had lots of fun!
Have a look at the fun things we have been up to this and week and see the children ‘living life in all its fullness’.
