Due to the warm weather and hot temperatures in school in the afternoon we will close to ALL pupils at 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Children are able to wear their PE kit everyday this week.
Fir Class enjoyed an amazing day out at St Johns church and the Peace Pagoda in Ladywood yesterday. We went to learn more about why people pray. Reverand Jo and her team made us so welcome.
The children joined in with the Bible story of Samuel and we looked at the Easter images on the stained glass windows.
We learned about Bhudda at the Peace Pagoda and explored paintings and artefacts.
At the end of the day, we worked together to create a ‘Footpath to God’ and designed beautiful prayer flags.
