This afternoon in Willow class, the children had lots of fun learning about healthy eating! First we explored the artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo who was an Italian painter who created portraits of people using fruit and vegetables. The children then had ago at creating their own art work using pictures of fruit and veg. We talked about what type of food is healthy food, the food that is not as good for us and how to have a balanced diet.
To end the day, the children created their own fruit kebabs, they used the knives to cut the fruit then created their kebab. They all enjoyed eating the yummy fruit!
