This week, the children in Willow class have enjoyed learning all about the Artic and Antarctica. They have explored the different animals that live in a cold climate and they have compared how the weather is different to their home in Frankley.
Last week, the children also explored China. They were learning all about how children from different cultures celebrate Chinese New Year and they even had a go at doing their own dragon Dance.
Today, the children have been finding out about maps and exploring the local area. We went on a walk to the library looking at the different places such as the doctors and the dentist. When the children got back they worked in groups to create a map to show someone how to get from Holly Hill School to the Library.
