Happy New Year to all the families of Fir Class. We have had a very fun and busy first week back at school after the Christmas holidays. We have worked so hard and looked after our new teacher Mrs Smith. Thank you to all of the families for making me feel welcome. This week we have learning about our new 'Courageous Advocate', The Dalai Lama and introducing our new focus religion of Buddhism. We are really looking forward our visit to the Buddhist Pagoda and church next week. In science we sorted animals into the habitats where they live, we have been exploring numbers to 20 in Maths and using our senses to describe a setting in English. Please enjoy the photos our of PE lesson, we worked hard to travel in different ways around the hall, challenged ourselves to see how long we could balance on one leg and how quickly we could react to the sound of the tambourine. We really have enjoyed 'Life in all its Fullness' this week.
