We love story time in nursery whether its all together on the carpet at home time or taking time with a friend in our book corner or prayer corner. The children love the book corner where they can choose a book to share with a friend or read alone, we also have comics in there for them to have fun with. the children also enjoy sitting in our prayer corner and reading our stories about God and his friends. Last week our story for the week was Elmer and the children enjoyed finding out about the rainbow coloured elephant and were able to help me sort the pictures of the story into order from what happened at the beginning to the end. This week we have launched our home reader and your child will have a book to bring home and share with you. when you are ready you can bring the book back and choose another to take home and share, if you are not sure what to do please ask a member of staff. If the children have a favourite book please bring it in and we will share it at story time.
