This half term, we will be living life in all its fullness by learning about an important part of history: the fight for civil rights.
We will be learning all about courageous advocate Rosa Parks. We will start with predicting who we think she is and why she is important.
She is known as the “First Lady of civil rights” and the “mother of the freedom movement”. We will learn all about how she refused to give up her seat on the bus for a white person and sparked a national change.
We can’t wait to find out more about this inspiring woman!
