What a fantastic and joyous day we have had today. We have been celebrating the Queen’s platinum jubilee and thinking about all she has done for our country and for the Church of England. She is the head of the Church and as a church school, she is important to us too.
We started the celebrations by showing respect and dressing to impress. Then we sang the National Anthem in Collective Worship before learning about her in class.
At lunch time we had a street party on the playground, we had yummy food make by the kitchen staff (thank you very much) and cake. We followed this by showing friendship and going to the field to play lawn games altogether.
In the afternoon some children in Beech class planted a jubilee garden.
I think you would agree we all demonstrated today living life in all its fullness.
