In our Heart Smart lesson this week we have been talking about our emotions and how we can look at someone to work out how they feel. The ability to read body language and facial expressions is an important skill in communication and language.
The children were shown a selection of face pictures expressing different emotions. We talked together about what the emotion could be and what we could see to make us think that.
The children were very good at this so we then asked some of the children to act out the emotion so the others could guess. We had some great acting and we were able to work out the emotion together.
